The Utah PHP User Group will be meeting this Thursday, July 20th at 7 p.m. for a presentation and discussion on web user interface design and programming. It appears that the presentation will cover both designing and building great interfaces.
It seems like opportunity abounds for flat brochure-ware website designs but many designers don’t have much opportunity to design product (web application) interfaces, which requires more of a usability bent.
I stumbled upon this incredible Photoshop image created by Bert Monroy. After some 2000 hours and 15,000 Photoshop layers, he created this incredibly realistic image of Damen Station on Chicago’s Blue Line. It’s definitely worth a quick look. Maybe even a long look.
